In addition to these things, there are many American Revolutionary War sites that are easily accessible from many of the camp grounds within the county. It makes for an excellent Fourth of July weekend of RV camping Westchester County to make an itinerary of the sites from the Revolutionary War, such as Thomas Paine's Cottage and Patriots park, before heading back to the campsite to BBQ some hamburgers and watch one of the County's fireworks displays. If you are planning to go during peak season—which includes pretty much the whole summer, but especially holiday weekends—you must be sure to make reservations in advance. There are millions of people out there who want the campsites you do, so be sure to get one and not get stuck driving for hours looking for a place to park your rig.
